As I rose along with the mist at dawn
And dreamt upon the coming day.
Of the victory, the glory, the honour,
Its all about it they say.
Then I joined the men two thousand strong
With pride and honour they beamed
Thinking of their acts about to come
Noble or so it seemed
And so they unleashed the sea of red
The air was filled with cries and smell of the dead
Into this part of hell I was led
Is this really victory when humanity is losing
In our blindfold of ego the evil gets stronger
We are all just slaves in this new world order
And all of our dreams are hidden behind this illusion of war.
As I walked aimlessly around the field
I saw a young man lying astray
Surrounded by corpse he lay quiet and still
But a lot did his naked eyes say
Then I saw his face filled with fear and grief
Was it so different from mine
We were fighting the wrong enemy I thought
And the end is coming in time
The soldiers are nothing but pawns in the game
The masked beasts at the head are the ones to blame
In their dark shadow victims we all became

Flowing underneath the bright blue sky

Hearing the call
I jump into the blue
But sometimes it acts like a beast
When on innocents souls its feasts
I can hear their cries from underneath
Calling from vessels they’re hid beneath
Now that its sober it makes me think
When I am standing on the brink
Is it all created by chance
Or is it the work of the cosmic sans
